Canto Wrap is designed as a way of forcing myself to keep up with a genre that I’d probably overlook otherwise. Like the Mandopop lists, anything from December 2020 to November 2021 was eligible—I think it just runs a little easier to cover Mandopop and Cantopop that way given the way they continue to release projects throughout December. Crazchanni & LOWKEYBOY’s “Twin Stars” (#3) and 2Naughtyy’s “What? (feat. RICHTHELONER)” (#11) aren’t on Spotify, so I’ve replaced them with two singles from last year off albums from this year: Juno Mak & Kay Tse’s “合唱歌” and Dear Jane’s “Galactic Repairman” to preserve order.
